Utah Action Coalition for Health (UACH) Mid-Summer News

While many are in the swing of enjoying their summer vacations and well deserved leisure time, the Utah Action Coalition for Health (UACH) has been busy with several new initiatives.  We are pleased to report the following news:

  1. UACH Website Has Launched – Our website, www.nursinginutah.com, just got approval to launch from the National Campaign for the Future of Nursing in America!  Please check us out soon to learn the latest on what is happening with Utah’s nursing profession.  Read about our new efforts to implement an APRN Fellowship Program and enhance the education progression of RNs.  And there is much more!   A teaser for you:  the site has our new future nursing student recruitment brochure posted and is getting rave reviews from lots of folks!
  2. Unidos en Utah July 29th Meeting/Featured Speaker Utah Representative/Minority Whip Rebecca Chavez-Houck on Utah’s Health Care Reform Efforts – Come hear the latest on Utah’s health care reform efforts and plans for Medicaid expansion by attending the July 29, 4 p.m. event at Health Insight (756 E.
